As I mentioned in my previous post, I had recently picked out a few pieces from Reliance trends at their store launch at Infinity 2, Malad. I wore those pieces to the Reliance trends show at Lakme Fashion Week S/R’16, which was in association with designer Rahul Mishra on Day 5 this Sunday.
I had picked out a white on white look, which included a blazer with cropped trousers with a hint of colour added by a teal bralette inside. To finish up I wore some silver block heels.
Speaking of the show, this was in fact one of those shows that I had been eagerly waiting for through out the week. I have always been a fan of Rahul Mishra designs and the fact that his show was in association with reliance trends made it even more exciting as it meant that the runway looks were going to be accessible to the masses!
This S/R collection was called the “Knot Of Love” which involved various draping techniques. What I loved the most from the collection was the colour pallete and the draping techniques used for each look.
Showstopper Ileana D’cruz looked flawless in her blue embroidered gown with cut work details. The look was ethereal and I could not stop looking at the amount of detailing that went into making that piece.
Also, like always a round up on Lakme Fashion Week will be up on the blog very soon.
