Soho Day – New York Street Style Edition

New York Street Style, Juhi Godambe

This shoot is a rather memorable one now, of course shooting it was so much fun! Walking around Soho, finding cute spots and posing in the perfect weather that it was. But, the reason why this is so memorable is because clearly a lot of people on social media could not handle a bit of underboob from an Indian girl. Why? No clue! Are we forgetting its 2017? Maybe! But what about progression and a fresh mind set?

I thought to myself that I would not get anymore vocal about the negative outrage I got over this top, but hey this is where I pen down my thoughts, it’s the reason I have this blog, so my readers should very well know everything.

Now! coming to the look, this is infact also one of my favourite shoots in New York, shot by a super talented photographer Aakash Sarav, a NY based full time engineer and a part time photographer. The colours on the street and the outfit with yellow cabs driving past in the background worked just perfectly.

I spotted this top at Urban Outfitters, and I knew I had to get it. I mean it’s so cute! And the trousers are a new favourite/staple in my wardrobe. I got them from H&M and boy do I love them! Love the pearl detailing running down the pants on both sides. Absolutely versatile. To finish up I went ahead and teamed my new Sylvie bag from Gucci with basic patent heels and a ponytail.

Tell me your thoughts!
